Klaus Wenke (24 March 1916 – 1 November 1944) was a highly decorated ''Oberleutnant zur See'' of the Reserves in the Kriegsmarine during World War II. He was also a posthumous recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
